Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Planeworthy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Planeworthy is an aircraft maintenance tracking platform that helps pilots and aircraft owners organize maintenance records, track compliance, analyze oil reports, and store documents. The Service is provided as a subscription-based web application.

Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose: tracking aircraft maintenance. You may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent

Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you upload to or create within the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

You can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

Data Retention and Backups

We perform automated daily backups of all data. Database snapshots are retained for 90 days in immutable storage. Point-in-time recovery covers a 30-day window. Uploaded file versions are retained for 90 days after being replaced or deleted. If you request account deletion, active data is removed within 30 days, and existing backups expire naturally based on their retention period. For full details, see our Data Retention Policy.

Subscriptions and Payment

The Service is offered on a monthly ($14.99/month) or annual ($143.90/year) subscription basis. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access through the end of your current billing period. After that, your account becomes read-only — you can still view and export your data but cannot add new entries.

Free Trial

New accounts may be eligible for a free trial period. No credit card is required to start a free trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the Service. If you do not subscribe, your account becomes read-only.

AI Features

The Service includes AI-powered features such as oil report analysis and document extraction. These features are provided as tools to assist you and should not be considered a substitute for professional mechanical advice. AI analysis may contain errors. Always consult a qualified aircraft mechanic or inspector for maintenance decisions.

Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

Planeworthy is a record-keeping and analysis tool. It is not a certified maintenance tracking system, and its output does not constitute professional mechanical, legal, or regulatory advice. You are responsible for ensuring your aircraft complies with all applicable FAA regulations and airworthiness directives.

Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance or experience unplanned outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime in advance.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Planeworthy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Planeworthy and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. In such cases, we will provide you with an opportunity to export your data before deletion, unless prohibited by law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the site at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
